Face Jugs were a historical tradition rooted deeply in folklore. Often used to ward off evil spirits and protect the graves of loved ones. The idea was to make a face terrifying enough to frighten away evil spirits or even the devil himself. They were also used in some cultures to scare children away from drinking whatever was inside such as moonshine or even poisons. This is my take on that ancient tradition.

These are all part of the ongoing Unbox Industries WHO GOES THERE mini-figure series which features toy artists from around the world in blind box sets.
